Wedding | Karolina & Arno | Omujeve Lodge, Namibia – Part 1
Posted on Feb 20, 2012 | 5 commentsFinally I get to post the wedding photos of Karolina and Arno and give them the blog loving that they deserve! If you ever saw that movie or read that book where a boy and a girl notice each other on a crowded London Underground train for a few days in a row, when a glance and a smile turn into a “good morning” and then the inevitable turn of events when the boy gets on train one morning and the girl is not there, leads them to make a date the next time they see each other on the train. If you watched that movie and thought to yourself this only ever happens in movies and not in real life then you’re wrong. That was the short version of how this Namibian boy and this Swedish girl met and came to the point where they tied the knot on an overcast, surprisingly cool day in Namibia.
Loved the decor, the laid back flow of the day (nothing rushed anyone!) and the fact that we had about 2 hours for the couple shoot and family photos before the start of the reception, the clouds, the guests, the food! You guys definitely pulled it off! Here’s the first post of your wedding day and I know you’ve seen these on Facebook on Friday, but refresh your mind and pretend you’re seeing them for the first time.
With a view like this you’ll be inspired to write the most amazing wedding speech as well!
This was the view from where the boys were getting ready.
This was the view from where the girls were getting ready. (Just above the boys!)
Karolina’s Mom’s shoes from the 70′s! Karolina wore them at the reception.
