A girl 5 minutes before getting married
Posted on Jan 23, 2012 | 4 commentsAt almost every wedding you spot a moment before a bride is about to walk down the aisle when they go quiet. It’s a good quiet though and a quiet that has to be enjoyed because as I always say to brides, once you walk down the aisle and you blink your eyes it’s 9pm. It’s good to stop every now and again and just take everything in that’s happening around you!
This was Anél’s moment and I can still remember it like it happened just a moment ago. The rest of their wedding will be up at the start of next week and it’s turning out to be a fantastic one so far, a trampoline, vineyards, a dam and the Afrikaans Language Monument in Paarl!
The next shot was completely underexposed. If you had to see the RAW file it’s basically black and because I don’t even delete those ones, I decided that I would push the exposure as far as it would go in Lightroom to see what it was that I missed. When I saw this I just had to play around with the image and this is what I got, quite loving the effect and might just go through past weddings and see what I can dig out there as well!
