A girl and a boy who didn’t get put off by a bit of rain

I’m finally back! Wedding season started again and editing, prepping blog posts and shooting is in full swing again. Think my camera’s shutter might be in shock with all the actuations it’s had in the last three weeks! With that comes new images that I just can’t wait to share and the Love List will start flowing a bit more regularly now with little teasers before the full blog posts. Like this little gem I found whilst editing Johan and Lizelle’s wedding from a couple of weeks ago.

It rained, not something that ever really happens when I’m shooting a wedding. The rain normally stays away when it comes to the bride walking down the isle and the groom saying “I do”, but this day it rained when they were supposed to be doing that, so everything moved to plan B and turned out perfectly in the end. Lizelle can definitely teach all future brides a lesson when it comes to handling mother nature on your wedding day, I was impressed by how she handled it!

So here we go, the first two teaser images from their wedding that I’m editing at the moment, taken when people were crowding the bar and lounging on white sofas under the stars. Their full blog post is coming soon!
