Save the Date
Posted on May 6, 2011 | 6 commentsI got so excited when I opened my mailbox and saw the envelope! It came from far…Sweden to be exact. I’ve never received a Save the Date before, yes, I do get the occasional invite to a wedding, but a Save the Date was the first and to celebrate the milestone I thought I’d share it with you!
I’m shooting Karolina and Arno’s wedding in January and met with them in December when they were in South Africa. Karolina is a regular commentator on my blog and Facebook page and it was great to meet this girl who always has such great things to say about the shoots that I do!
Can’t wait to shoot your wedding, I’m already putting ice packs in the freezer to cool us down when we hit the desert for your wedding!

It only took 37 days for it to arrive
Bring ice packs and let’s hope for nice weather and not a sudden rain/thunderstorm!
That’s so awesome, congrats Wesley on being selected as their photographer and to Karolina & Arno on your upcoming wedding!
@ Karolina: that sudden thunderstorm (clouds) could result in some really stunning images!
As long as the rain doesn’t catch up with you guys.
Always a first for everything – sure the trip will be exciting and the wedding something to look forward to.
No ways, you going to SWEDEN!?!?!?
oh wait, windhoek i think?! lol
Yes, Windhoek it is
Although we really like Drikus work, it would just not be very cost efficient flying him over to Sweden!
